Mabinogi Mobile expands beyond Korea with its first overseas launch

Developer devCAT has expanded Mabinogi Mobile into Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, marking the mobile title's first launch outside its debut market of South Korea. According to reporting by Pocket Gamer, the mobile adaptation of Nexon's long-running fantasy MMORPG carries over its existing cross-play functionality, enabling players across the newly added territories to switch seamlessly between mobile and PC platforms.

New Eight-Player Raid Boss Kabrak

Alongside the regional expansion, the game has introduced a major challenge to the world of Erinn with the arrival of Kabrak, a new eight-player raid boss.

Commenting on the arrival of the dragon, Pocket Gamer wrote, "I have never trusted a dragon with good PR, and Kabrak does not seem bothered about changing my mind. The new eight-player raid boss has been busy scorching Erinn since it turned up, and going by the little I know about Kabrak, laboured breathing and general catastrophe are just how it says hello."

Summer Seasonal Events in Colhen

In addition to the overseas rollout and the high-level raid encounter, Mabinogi Mobile is currently hosting seasonal summer-themed events. These limited-time activities are centered around the location of Colhen, offering new and returning players extra content to engage with during the regional expansion.
