Hello Kitty Island Adventure invites you to a lovely tea party with bows, bonnets, and even romance

The cozy life simulator Hello Kitty Island Adventure is expanding with a new content update titled "Tea Garden," scheduled to launch on August 6, 2026. Developed by Sunblink in partnership with Sanrio, the upcoming release introduces new narrative storylines, regency-inspired cosmetics, and tea-themed customization options.

Quests, Romance, and Regency Fashion

Players accessing the update will be able to dive into a substantial expansion of the game's ongoing storyline. According to Pocket Gamer, "The Tea Garden DLC, in particular, will have you discovering more than 15 fresh narrative quests, with everything from romance to mischief. Of course, since it's a tea party, expect a touch of elegance with some regency-inspired outfits, and plenty of tea-themed cosmetics to marvel at."

These additions build upon the title's customization systems, expanding the lineup of cosmetic choices available. Players can dress up Sanrio characters using over 300 different clothing items in the game, with the update adding regency-inspired fashion alongside new tea-themed items to decorate and style characters.

Platform Pricing and Access Options

How players access the new content will depend on their chosen platform. On consoles, the Tea Garden update will be released as a paid downloadable content package. As reported by Pocket Gamer, "Launching on August 6th, the DLC will set you back by $9.99 on consoles but will be integrated into Apple Arcade if you're on the subscription service, which is just lovely."

Mobile players who access Hello Kitty Island Adventure through an active Apple Arcade subscription will receive the Tea Garden narrative quests, outfits, and tea-themed items included as part of their existing membership when the update debuts on August 6.
