A modder named SonicaKP is developing a Fallout-inspired homesteading modification for Capcom's Dragon's Dogma 2. The ambitious user-made project aims to allow players to construct fully customizable houses in the game's countryside from scratch, gathering resources from the environment and purchasing furniture with in-game gold.

According to development details reported by Eurogamer, the mod focuses on a natural integration with the base game's existing rhythm and mechanics, ensuring the building process acts as a grounded progression system rather than a shortcut or cheat.

Future Expansion Plans

The homesteading system is intended to serve as part of a larger overhaul. SonicaKP has revealed plans to incorporate several additional features into the project over time, including:

• A creature taming system
• New rideable mounts, including griffins
• Gardening mechanics

SonicaKP is known in the Dragon's Dogma 2 modding community for creating "RiftSpeak" on Nexus Mods, a project designed to give the player's main pawn "natural AI conversation and the will to act on it."
