Towering Tower, the developer behind Knight Lancer, has launched its latest mobile title, Chariot Rivals, bringing the high-stakes danger of ancient Roman chariot racing to mobile devices.

Setting aside traditional modern racing setups, Chariot Rivals places players directly behind the reins inside the Roman circus. The game focuses on a brutal, physics-driven interpretation of ancient arena competition, emphasizing the violence and physical danger that characterized historical chariot events.

Brutal Arena Racing and Deadly Collisions

The gameplay loop of Chariot Rivals centers on competitive, high-speed racing around arena tracks modeled after ancient venues like the Circus Maximus. Success requires steering through tight turns while navigating around rival racers, but aggressive positioning carries severe risks.

The game features a hard-hitting collision system where sharp maneuvers and close contact can easily trigger chaotic, deadly pileups. High-impact crashes can instantly disrupt a race, unseating players and sending them careening out of their chariots and onto the sand below.

Chariot Rivals is currently available to download exclusively on iOS devices.
